Student Nurse Extern I

Our student nurse extern program provides the opportunity to gain supervised, hands-on working experience while still in nursing school.

Nurse externs gain valuable experience to help them prepare for careers as members of the medical community tasked with providing high-quality care to patients.

Pay rates are competitive.

REQUIREMENTS

• Actively enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Completed at least one nursing medical-surgical clinical rotation.
• Upon accepting RN position with HSHS and within last semester of nursing school, student qualifies to transition to an Extern II position.
